Q1: Where is Laurel Parc located?
A1: Laurel Parc is conveniently nestled on a beautifully landscaped site about 10-miles west of Downtown Portland on the corner of NW Laidlaw Road and NW Bethany Boulevard, just off State Highway 26. If traveling from I-5, take HWY 217 North until you reach US-26 W via the exit on the LEFT toward TILLAMOOK / ASTORIA. Then take Exit 68 towards Bethany Blvd. Turn right on Bethany Blvd until you reach Central Drive. Contact us if you need further assistance.
Q2: When will it be open for occupancy?
A2: We are currently accepting reservations for occupancy in both The Vistas Assisted Living and Laurel Parc Independent Living. Laurel Parc is scheduled to open early 2009. Contact us today for the best apartment selection available.
Q3: What sort of apartments and amenities will be available?
A3: Laurel Parc apartments will feature one and two bedroom apartments with full kitchens, individually controlled heating and cooling, and generous closet and storage space.
The Vistas Assisted Living at Laurel Parc feature studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom apartments each with a kitchenette, private bath, individually controlled heating and cooling, and a 24 hour emergency call system.
All residents will have access to the community center as well as planned activities, transportation and amenities such as dining, beauty and barber salon, library, computer center, activity and recreation rooms, fitness center, theater, cable TV, and all other common spaces and amenities throughout the campus.
Q4: What if my health changes and I need personal assistance?
A4: The Vistas at Laurel Parc will accommodate residents requiring personal care assistance which may include medication monitoring, grooming and bathing assistance, 'round-the-clock well-being monitoring, personal laundry, and stand-by or hands-on assistance with one or more of the activities of daily living. Basic services in assisted living include a 24-hour staffing and emergency response system, three meals per day, weekly housekeeping and linen service, planned activities and scheduled transportation.
Q5: Who manages Laurel Parc?
A5: Laurel Parc is managed by Paradigm Senior Living, a local company who has been managing senior living communities for more than 20 years. Visit their website at www.psliving.com.
Q6: What are Laurel Parc’s terms and financial agreements?
A6: Laurel Parc is a rental retirement community. All apartments are rented under a one year rental agreement, but you have the right to cancel at anytime with a 30 day notice. Q7: Sounds great! How do I sign up?
A7: Simply stop by our information office at 15325 NW Central Drive J-10, in Portland for a presentation of the community and available units, select your apartment and make a fully refundable reservation deposit. If for any reason you do not move into Laurel Parc, your deposit will be promptly and fully refunded.
